Six companies are currently licensed to produce influenza vaccine in the U.S. market (sanofi pasteur, Inc., MedImmune Vaccines Inc., Novartis Vaccines, CSL Biotherapies, GlaxoSmithKline Biologicals, and ID Biomedical Corporation), many of whom are working to expand their production capacities."
