I was aware of his work with polio (per med school and college and high school) and then was reminded of him in Michael Moore's Capitalism, but did not know anything of his philosophy:

ReplyDeleteThis statement alone gives merit to reading one of his books on bio-philosophy. Though I believe we have reached this conclusion ourselves, I am particularly interested in his view that we should "draw from the scriptures of nature" to "imagine and anticipate the future."
